2022 was an exciting time for Egham with huge investment by Runnymede Council to build and launch the amazing Magna Square development with additional retail units and an Everyman cinema to compliment the arrival of Waitrose and Egham Orbit leisure center with its indoor pool and spa. Egham has still retained lots of it’s character, which famously dates back as far as 1215 and the signing of the Magna Carta by King John here at Runnymede on the banks of the River Thames. The High Street has superb restaurants for those wanting to sample quality food and service with a smile.  We have fantastic links to the M25, M3 and M4 giving access to Heathrow and Gatwick, as well as our mainline station making Waterloo less than a 40 minute journey and let’s not forget that Windsor Great Park and the famous Wentworth Golf Course are on our doorstep, all of which is very appealing to those wanting to move away from London but still close enough to commute. There is excellent public schooling in the area as well as some extremely well regarded and established private schools. We are also lucky enough to have the stunning RHUL (Royal Holloway University of London) in Englefield Green which brings a fantastic mix of students and adds some vibrancy to the local area, making us a great option for buyers looking to invest in the buy to let market.
